Things looking good

Just completed first week with my new employer and things are looking very good.
So glad I am a quick learner and have a lot to offer.

I have finally done it

It's been an agonising 3 months out of work and after numerous applications and interviews- I have been offered a job to start this week.
Thanks to all who followed, encouraged and supported.........

Now I am confused!!

I've just heard back from a 2nd interview I had, their response was;

You have a good c.v. and interviewed well.
Unfortunately your skills and experience do not quite fit with the requirements of the position.

If my skills and experience didn't fit the requirements of the position- why was I asked for another interview???

I am absolutely speechless-
